About Us - Mitchell Fox

Founded just after WWI, Alf Mitchell & Frank Fox headed up a business that was set up by the owners of Waddingtons, Forgrove Engineering & Blackburn Aircraft. These 3 large Leeds based companies wanted a secure and reliable supply chain for their engineers tools & abrasives. Mitchell Fox was born.

1970s Mitchell Fox & Co Ltd moved to a prestigious location & into a purpose built building on Whitehouse Street, Leeds following the purchase by the current Directors

1990s Ashton Tools joined the group and developed into a manufacturer of specialist cutting tools for the Aerospace, Motorsport & Medical Industries.

2012 Ashton Tools was sold to M A Ford who Mitchell Fox now consider to be one of their Premier Suppliers

Mitchell Fox have built strong relationships with our clients in the Oil & Gas, Automotive, Medical, Power Generation & Sub Contract Industries by proving that we can offer full technical support to improve performance and efficiency within all aspects of their manufacturing processes. Our Technical Team consists of experienced and well respected Engineers and with our large and established supplier portfolio we are able to offer the latest in cutting edge products.

Inventory Management is also a core part of our business. Mitchell Fox has a resident specialist who is well known for customising SupplyPoint and Supplypro machines to fit with the customers’ individual requirements.
